I know, we are weird...most people babymoon somewhere warm, but we both love the cold and outdoors, so Lake Tahoe was the perfect spot for us. Unfortunately, on the drive up, we had a little bit of car trouble (okay, a lot of car trouble) and we had to stay the first night in Stockton:( But, the next morning, we were on our way!
We had a great stay at Plumpjack Inn in Squaw Valley! We had an excellent dinner and I even had my dessert bought by the mayor because his wife was celebrating his birthday also.
Because there was not as much snow as we thought, we took the opportunity to take a hike to Shirley Lake. It was a gorgeous day and the hike was amazing!

On Sunday, we took a drive around the Lake. We couldn't have asked for better weather to enjoy the day.
On our last day, somehow Troy convinced me to take the tram to High Camp. I made it up there alive and we enjoyed a nice lunch overlooking the Valley.
