Heading to Antigua...

Finally we are heading to Antigua for a week.  Staying at Coco Bay Resort which is on the South West, Caribbean side of the island.  Fun!  Below is a you tube video I found that talks about travelling to Antigua and shows pictures and also hits Coco Bay.

Orange street fair

This afternoon we visited the Orange street fair. Of course we had a German and Swiss brautwurst. Had some beer and pranced around Norwegian street with my Viking helmet which got many compliments. Too much fun.

Paddleboarding

Living in Southern California we sometimes take for granted all of the outdoor activities we have available for us.  A group of us decided to try paddleboarding on Sunday in the Newport Bay.  Although I was a little scared at first, because those who know me well know that I don't have the best coordination, I was excited to try.  The experience was wonderful!  It was peaceful gliding along the water as well as a great workout.  We will definitely go out on the water again:)

Troy had a little bit of trouble at the beginning, but he got the hang out it after awhile!

August is a busy time for the Dresel family!! We celebrate my dad's birthday, my sister Kim's birthday, and my grandparent's wedding anniversary.  My Aunt Barbara invited us over to celebrate these August events.  My cousin was able to join us from San Francisco and we spent a beautiful day in Laguna Beach with our family.
